Younger children might watch this and just think about why this all happened and they would just think, "Why couldn't they just avoid the iceberg?" or "Why didn't she stay on the lifeboat?". An older audience would see the strength and bravery Jack and Rose have and how much they were willing to sacrifice for each other. Men would be focussing on on how Jack and Cal compete and the whole fight over Rose and their survival. Women might focus on the immense strength Rose had to be able to refuse to follow the rules everyone is making around her and how this movie opposes the stereotypical weak, rich girl. Many women might look at this movie as an inspiration. If a less fortunate person like Jack were to watch this movie, he or she might look at Jack as an inspiration since he not only had the strength and bravery to go against what people around him were saying about what was possible, but he fought society in how different social classes can interact with each other. He went after Rose even after people told him that it wasn't right or possible. A much more fortunate person like Cal or Ruth might look at this and not like the stereotypical selfish, rude rich person or they might even agree with what Cal and Ruth think.
